UC's Academic Health Center Public Relations & Communications Office serves as a link between the UC Academic Health Center faculty, staff and students and the local, regional and national news media. We strive to be an accurate, comprehensive and authoritative source of biomedical information for print and broadcast media. Our services include:
} Coordinating and arranging media interviews
} Writing news releases
} Pitching stories to the news media
} Serving as the media spokesperson for the Academic Health Center
As part of this mission, we are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week to meet the needs of reporting organizations who contact us seeking experts, background information, educated opinions or a local angle to national news.
How to Reach Us: All communication with members of the media is coordinated through our office to ensure a prompt, accurate response.
} During Business Hours: If you have a media inquiry or would like to arrange an interview with one our UC Cancer Center health experts, please contact Amanda Harper, public information officer at (513) 558-0448 (office), (513) 604-3308 (cell) or via e-mial at amanda.harper@uc.edu. Please note: A public information officer must escort all broadcast media and photographers while on the Academic Health Center campus. Please contact us to arrange all video and photographic shoots.
