How to Help
You can provide support for cancer-related patient care, research and education initiatives through personal financial gifts, volunteering your time, donating blood or sharing your testimonial as a patient to encourage others to give.
For information on personal or corporate giving programs, contact Laureen McCorkle at (513) 558-9879 or e-mail email@example.com.
The UC Cancer Institute and UC Health Barrett Center is part of the Cincinnati Cancer Center, a joint cancer program involving the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and UC Health. The collaborative initiative brings together interdisciplinary research teams of caring scientists and health professionals to research and develop new cures, while providing a continuum of care for children, adults and families with cancer.
The University of Cincinnati Foundation accepts monetary gifts online, by mail and by telephone.
If you are interested in volunteering at the Barrett Cancer Center, UC Health’s outpatient cancer care facility in Clifton, call 513-584-4875.
Red blood cells are used to treat anemia, a condition that can occur after certain cancer treatments. Platelets are a component of red blood cells critical to maintaining the blood’s clotting ability. Infusions of one or the other are often needed after chemotherapy treatment. Hoxworth Blood Center has nine convenient blood collection centers across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. For more information, visit hoxworth.org.
If you have benefited from exceptional care at UC Health and want to share your story on our website or other communication channels, contact Amanda Harper at firstname.lastname@example.org.
